Tolls, airport fees and bigger cars
A toll is added only when your route uses a toll road. From the CBD the CityLink toll to the airport comes to about $7.37, and many trips from the north and west carry no toll at all. The $5.26 airport pickup fee applies only to trips that start at a terminal. Silver Service adds $11.00 to the same trip, and a maxi taxi or SUV adds $17.80. Evening, overnight and weekend night tariffs cost more than the day rate.
